Morphlabs was selected to attend the innovative and industry-defining Future in Review Conference which kicked off this week. As a prestigious FiReStarter company, Morphlabs has been recognized for its world-changing technology and was selected to present at the conference. This particular conference is always a fascinating amalgamation of leaders across technology, healthcare, energy and media. However, this year’s theme – The Power of Integration – was especially resonant with the Morphlabs team.
In delivering some of the most sophisticated and transformative cloud solutions in the world, the power of integration has been a defining delivery strategy. Morphlabs’ mission is to deliver efficient and dynamic infrastructure solutions. To do so, pre-integration and optimization of best-of-breed cloud building blocks is a requirement.
Mark Hurd, President of Oracle, echoed these points in today’s keynote. In his words, Oracle is making the Enterprise “rebel against complexity.” He says it “took a while for them to get this cloud thing,” but now that they have, Oracle believes delivering an integrated and engineered system is the optimal delivery mechanism. He has the right theory, but I believe Oracle will never have the right ingredients to be a market leader in cloud. Their reliance on exorbitant licenses and expensive enterprise hardware only increases the complexity of the network and drives up the price for the end user. Our five years navigating the evolving cloud computing landscape led to the perfection of our mCloud solution – simplifying implementation and driving increased price performance through convergence and innovative architecture and open source software components.
Feel free to visit us at the conference to find out how Morphlabs actually has cloud covered. And stay tuned for our upcoming whitepaper on how to turbo-charge private cloud through SSDs, converged hyperscale architecture, and OpenStack.
