Winston Damarillo

Winston Damarillo

Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Morphlabs

Winston Damarillo is a proven serial entrepreneur with a track record of building successful technology start-ups. His past entrepreneurial endeavors include several companies which Winston grew to profitability and subsequently sold to major IT players: Gluecode Software, an open source application infrastructure company which was acquired by IBM in 2005, Logicblaze, acquired by Iona Technologies in 2007, and Webtide, acquired by Intalio in 2009. Winston is also the chairman of the board of directors for Exist, an award-winning leader in enterprise software development, and MaestroDev, a collaborative software development automation company.

Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Winston was among the highest performing venture capital professionals at Intel, having led the majority of his investments to either a successful IPO or a profitable corporate acquisition. In addition to leading Morphlabs, Winston is also involved in several organizations that are focused on combining the expertise of a broad range of thought leaders with advanced technology to drive global innovation and growth.

In 2011, Winston was selected as a Commissioner in the TechAmerica Foundation Commission on the Leadership Opportunity in the U.S. Deployment of the Cloud (CLOUD2)/State and Local Government (SLG), which will enable state and local governments to better serve their citizens by optimizing their use of cloud technologies and solutions.

As one of the prestigious Young Global Leader (YGL) honorees for 2010 and an active participant of the World Economic Forum, Winston is working with other leaders in business, government, academia and other disciplines to understand global challenges and trends and create a brighter future through the Open Cloud Initiative.

Winston is a trustee of the Philippine Development Foundation (PhilDev), an organization committed to social development initiatives for Filipinos in the Philippines and around the world by developing programs and supporting partnership initiatives in science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Winston holds a B.S. in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the De La Salle University.

Morphlabs CTO Lee Thompson

Lee Thompson

Chief Technology Officer

Lee likes using technology to automate businesses. He got an appreciation for this early in his career at Fisher Controls implementing distributed control systems technology in power, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, hydro-carbon, and other heavy industries. He took these skills to E*TRADE FINANCIAL, while it was a small startup, with a clear vision of using technology to price financial services products affordable for everyone. Lee’s roles at E∗TRADE included development, archtecture, and operations where his final role was that of Chief Technologist.

Lee currently brings his broad experience to dev2ops.org, where he is now a contributor. Lee is also a Special Consultant for DTO Solutions, through which he provides architecture and operations consulting for large .com and financial services clients.

Satoshi Konno

Satoshi Konno

VP of Product Strategies

Satoshi Konno is the vice president of product strategies for Morphlabs and is also the president of the Japanese operations. In his product strategy role, Satoshi is responsible for managing the product management, development and R&D for the mCloud products. As president and pioneer of Morphlabs Japan, he oversees operations and its client/partner engagements.

Prior to Morphlabs, Satoshi has worked as a venture capitalist and has been involved in cloud-related investments since 2006. Previously, Satoshi worked as a systems engineer planning and developing IT infrastructure for large scale networks and databases.

Satoshi has a undergraduate degree from Yokohama National University in Japan, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Aimon Bustardo

Aimon Bustardo

Sr. Director of Research and Development

Aimon Bustardo, as senior director for research and development, oversees the systems and support administration of various Morphlabs facilities distributed in the United States and Asia Pacific. He is managing the team of global systems administration engineers as well as support engineers.

Prior to Morphlabs, Aimon was director of tech operations for G2iX, and senior systems engineer for Simula Labs, DevZuz and LogicBlaze. His three-year experience with G2iX has led to reduction on IT operating costs to less than half, achieved through eliminating outsourced infrastructure solutions, increasing stability, implementing High Availability (HA) and Load Balancing (LB), and automating many previously manual tasks. He has also donated parts of an enterprise level application to the open source community while creating a custom internet portal to allow remote access of company resources.

Aimon graduated from Pierce College and Santa Monica College.

Kaz Brecher

Kaz Brecher

VP of Business Solutions

Kaz Brecher heads the strategy, implementation, and consulting services practice for Morphlabs. Acting as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, she is responsible for streamlining the product delivery product and support as well as furthering the discussion of cloud computing industry best practices in the larger community.

With a broad background across media platforms, Kaz brings a unique creative perspective to her interactive work, combining film, print, broadcast, branding and technology. Layering in strategic guidance to content and digital media development from 6 years of user-centered design experience, her primary areas of interest include emerging and cross-platform development, social media, and pro-social or environmental engagement projects.

Kaz holds a degree in Psychology from Stanford University.

Yoram Heller

Yoram Heller

VP of Corporate Development

Yoram Heller is the VP of Corporate Development where he drives all partnerships and strategic alliances for Morphlabs. Yoram has spearheaded many partnerships for Morphlabs including Arista Networks, Citrix and Zend.

Throughout his career, Yoram has been passionate about disruptive technology and contributed to open source startups, including being employee number four after the founders at Webtide (acquired by Intalio).

Yoram graduated from NYU’s Stern School of Business with majors in International Business and Marketing with a focus on Technology.

George Telenko

George Telenko

Sr. Director of Channel Sales

George Telenko oversees sales operations and channel programs at Morphlabs.

George’s experience includes sales and marketing roles in both the public and private sectors with organizations such as FrontRange Solutions, Clegg Industries and the County of Los Angeles. As a marketing consultant, George assisted a variety of small and mid-sized businesses in the development and execution of key marketing initiatives.

George holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Advertising with a minor in Economics from the University of Missouri –– Columbia.

Mark Maglana

Mark Maglana

Sr. Director of Product Development

Mark Maglana oversees the development of Morphlabs’ mCloud product line. In that role, he manages the definition and prioritization of the product specs and ensures that releases are met on time. Mark also coordinates with the other departments to help launch releases in a coordinated fashion.

Mark is a long time web development geek starting as the webmaster for his university while he was in college, continuing on to be a system analyst and developer in various startups before joining Morphlabs

Mark received a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of San Carlos, an MS in Management from the University of the Philippines, and an MS in Management from the Australian National University with majors in Technology, Innovation, and Commercialization.
